Michigan Memorial Park Lighthouse

Located on the tranquil banks of the Huron River, this working lighthouse serves as a unique final resting place at Michigan Memorial Park. Built in 2008, it is over 35 feet tall, constructed of American granite, has a steel deck that extends over 12 feet over the Huron River and has a working beacon. In the lighthouse and surrounding it are secure spaces that hold up to two people that wish to be cremated. Each space comes with a custom 8" x 8" stainless steel plaque that is designed by the family and engraved at Michigan Memorial Park.
